Cre­at­ing a sense of being in a remote location

The Renewed Mount Druitt Swim­ming Cen­tre is a $40.6 mil­lion renew­al of the exist­ing swim­ming facil­i­ty to pro­vide an enhanced space for the Mount Druitt com­mu­ni­ty. This facil­i­ty is one of the sev­en trans­for­ma­tion­al projects fund­ed as part of the West­ern Syd­ney Infra­struc­ture Grants (WSIG) program.

The state-of-the-art swim­ming cen­tre will trans­form the cur­rent pool to fea­ture a new indoor swim­ming facil­i­ty, refur­bished out­door 50m pool, an excit­ing entrance with a new kiosk and land­scape embellishments.

The refreshed facil­i­ty will pro­vide an ele­vat­ed swim­ming expe­ri­ence and ben­e­fit the com­mu­ni­ty by allow­ing the cen­tre to remain open for the full ye
