“...Refusing to be swallowed up by Westfield, this infill site is a model for creating a dynamic, naturally lit and ventilated retail building on a very deep and thin site...”

A three level retail building planned around a central sky lit atrium provides a highly visible streetscape presence. The atrium in the center of the site provides the vertical circulation, natural ventilation and separation between each of the six lettable trays. The top floor consists of administrative office space while the two lower floors accommodate the retail areas. Utilisation of a right of way over the neighbouring Westfield Shopping Centre allows maximum floor space coverage on the site.

Rapid construction of the building was achieved by way of precast concrete wall and floor panelling, a steel frame and substantial glazing to achieve the desired transparency.
