This office building in Paddington Sydney, contains 1,800 square metres of boutique, custom designed, office space with basement car parking for tenants and visitors. End user requirements involve high standard servicing technology for data, communications and security cabling. The importance of a social and healthy workplace environment was considered to be fundamental to the success of the project. For that reason, open plan, non-heirarchical interior space is combined with external landscaped break-out spaces. The integration of elevated roof terraces and ground level courtyards makes this an extremely compact and economically organised footprint. Executive office space, conference and showroom areas are combined with open plan staff amenities. A highly individualised mechanical system allowing maximum variation of climate control was introduced for user comfort. The project was constructed in 42 weeks including all interior and fitout works which were designed for the client.
